also need to install synedit and fastcode. synedit is a header-only editor component for delphi. fastcode is a debugger for delphi. download the fastcode package from the fastcode site and add it to your devcpp_libs directory as well. synedit is in the jvcl packages. unfortunately, i don't know where to find a complete install package for fastcode. i used to use the version from 6.0. the version for 6.2 gives me the error "project was compiled with a different version of fastcode than the one used to build the project. make sure you use the same version of fastcode that you are using to compile your project." i have no idea how to fix this.

when you are done with the first set of packages, you will need to install thememanager. download the thememanager zip file from here. unzip it to a folder, for example "$usernamedevcpp_libs", and open the setup.bat file. on the dialog, select the "delphi 6" tab and set the bpl and dcp paths as before. then choose "install".
